This book needs to be tackled like an intricate model. If you think you will plow through it like a dime store novel and emerge enlightened… that won’t happen.
What a tragic loss when DFW took his life. What scares me is allegedly he took it becase he could not handle being him and living among society and where it was heading. Read any of his books and you will see he had a preternatural understanding of society.
We all need to study DFW and learn.
