N0s4a2

by Joe Hill (offspring of Stephen King)

This book was an awakening for me. I have to say it was similar to a good Stephen King title but was highly polished. I kept thinking this is what Stephen King would write like all the time if he had not discovered chemical enhancements and been hit by a van that nearly killed him.

I wanted to start this book again while finishing it to enjoy the detail and descriptive attributes all over again, so I was better prepared for the ending if that makes sense. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone not quite faint of heart.

Mr B Gone

By Clive Barker

I have read this book more than once. Upon completion, I found myself drawn to write the author and ask when he may do another of this style.

I understand some may consider Barker a horror author, but I felt this book was more along the lines of dark humor.

I am going to list this as a horror/dark humor definitely worth your time to read.

Pet Semetary

by Stephen King

The misspelling in the title is to remind you children were the caretakers of the most evil place in Kings book world.

I first read this book when I was sixteen years old. I recall it like it was yesterday. Near the end of the book, it was the evening and I was settling into my bed for some light reading to fall asleep to.

My idea was I should just finish the book than fall asleep. I read a little and got to a certain part toward the end and proceeded to hurl the book across the room like I was an champion pitcher.
