The Martian

by Andy Weir

I am not a sci-fi person; this is not a genre I delve into often; however, this book is a treasure trove of humor, intrigue, political satire, and fun.

About a man that gets left behind on Mars and tries to survive until a rescue mission comes for him.
If you can read, go for the non-audio book, there’s a joke you can’t hear, and the same one in the movie where the computer typer communicates with the martian man on earth that pauses and looks unsure at the computer and then to the general.

It’s a great read, as I’ve heard from my kids who love Sci-fi.
